Rope Kojonen

Dr. E. V. Rope Kojonen is a theologian and philosopher of religion specialized in science and religion issues. In particular, he has contributed to discussion of topics such as the relationship between evolution and religious belief, design arguments, and religious trust in science. His books include Design Discourse in Abrahamic Traditions (Routledge 2024, edited together with Shoaib Malik), The Compatibility of Evolution and Design (Palgrave 2021), Luominen ja evoluutio (Gaudeamus 2021) and The Intelligent Design Debate and the Temptation of Scientism (Routledge 2016). Kojonen is editor of the Finnish science and religion webjournal Areiopagi.fi .
